It runs a 13.0 1/4, it WILL keep up with a challenger, the fucking thing has sluggish gears. I dont like the idea of electric cars replacing v8s but you have to be blind if you cant see the potential, get your head out of your ass. Look at the telsa, the fucking thing has a 0-60 time in less then 4 secs. • thejunkmanlives on 07-Jan-09 your an idiot if you think that was a legit test the challenger would smoke the ev if a treehugger wasnt drivin it • signlsnoborder on 07-Jan-09 That was a lame and fake test! Why don't they do a drag race between a Prius and some other crap like the Smart car . . who wins? 0-60 in 19 seconds! wow! • ZiggyMosquito on 07-Jan-09 Why the Challenger lost: It's a 4000+ lb slug and needs to go on a diet. Lame launch both times. Lame shifting (short shifting?) both passes. Lifted on second pass (or missed 3rd) - watch the nose. Still, not bad for the EV. • pgfault on 05-Jan-09 Not 1/4 mile. Challenger clearly lets off. Odd test. • wpanik on 05-Jan-09 challengers are junk! • Georgenfla on 04-Jan-09 whether its a 1/4 mile or not its sad. And they claim this ev car runs 13s and that keeps up with the challenger, again very sad for the hemi. • thejunkmanlives on 04-Jan-09 The ev does have a similarity to the Elise. And yes the manual Challengers don't come out until the mid-summer of 09. Anyhow it looks bad for G.M. but even worse for Chry. right now. Cerebrous is despartly looking for a buyer. The Chinese only want Jeep at the moment. Fact, sad but True. • paulstewartcrane on 03-Jan-09 Manual Challengers are already out actually. • wpanik on 05-Jan-09 Some are that is true, but not in mass. The plant up in Ontario, Canada are very slowly cranking them out. There are too be in high gear in late Spring or near change/over in Summer. Nice stang you have by the way. • paulstewartcrane on 05-Jan-09 |
