You guys are both idiots. Why would weight matter adding or changing a part like that? Thats like claiming the bottle of nitrous slows you down when you hit it. Turboes are more efficient then superchargers and who cares about immediate response if you make full boost at 3000rpm and hold it to 8000rpm When

weight matter so much it dosnt matter wat part it is even if it makes power weight can decide who wins if you knew about racing you would know that

Soon more car manufactures will start using variable geometry turbine turbochargers. now its used only by porsche in the new 997. It uses variable geometry vanes to control exhaust flow against the turbine elimanating low end turbo lag and optimizing top end performance.
